Dave Dudley – The Original Trucker

Dave Dudley, the father of truck driving country music, founded a new genre of honky tonk, rock-inflected country with many hit singles throughout the ’60s and ’70s. This Sun Records compilation contains 14 truck driving anthems including “Asphalt Cowboy” and “Pop Crove A Diesel” that cemented Dudley as one of the most popular singers of his era.
